About Love Canoe
Love Canoe was founded by a clinical counsellor and sexual health educator as a response to years of therapeutic conversation about sexuality and relationships. These conversations showed a need for more inclusive, fact-based sex & pleasure education within our communities and our bedrooms
Grateful to be Sḵwx̱wú7mesh based, we LOVE playing in the great outdoors and we hope you do too!
By relating information about sexuality to symbols and metaphors in nature, Love Canoe is a truly “down to earth” look at sex and communication. We give summiting Mt. Pleasure or going for paddle in your pink canoe an entirely new meaning.

We want to make conversations about wellness & sexuality so mainstream that we have created a platform and products to get people talking! We believe if people are better informed about their own bodies, and empowered to have meaningful dialogues about pleasure, it will create a culture of more confident and compassionate humans! Knowledge becomes powerful when you put it into practice. We are here support your learning. We gather facts from research and present it to you in a way that is digestible and reflective so that you can make clear and informed decisions about your health. We acknowledge that our business exists on the traditional, ancestral, stolen land of the Skwxwú7mesh Nation and because of this we want to ensure our products are made with sustainability in mind. Therefore, we print locally in small batches and our paper products are made with recycled paper, printed with plant based inks and are recyclable.

We are a local Sḵwx̱wú7mesh based company that supports our community.
We want to end gender based violence and give back to the community that continues to give to us. Therefore, we are donating %10 of all profits to local sexual assault response centres fro men, women and gender diverse individuals. Furthermore, we believe in supporting local business so we partner with local female identifying artists, designers, models, illustrators and photographers.
